2nd Sunday >> Events taking place throughout Kentucky! Be There. Be Active.

Washington County

2nd Sunday in Washington Co. will be October 9 in Springfield at Idle Hour Park. We will have a demonstration from the students at the local martial arts academy, corn hole, hula hoop, tennis, bike riding and walking. Our community partners are adult education, health department, senior center, county homemakers and extension.

Event summary:
Location: Idle Hour Park.

Activities included: Walking, Hula Hoop, Corn Hole, Demonstration from Four Dragons Mixed Martial Arts Academy, Tag played by most of participants, and Bike Riding.

Event summary:
Activities included a walk through city park. Pedometers were available if the participants wanted to log in their steps. The most steps took home the door prizes. We had hula hoops, jump ropes and frisbees for the kids to play with.
