Event summary:
Huffman Avenue, Main Street, Division Street, and Second Street were closed. Activities: Family walk, bicycle contest, elite cheer, flip flops gymnastics, dance gallery, community family dance, Jack B. Nimble, ATV safety games, Kentucky Cancer Program (game showing the impact of smoking on your breathing when doing physical activity), inflatable basketball, Pike County 4-H obstacle course and ladder ball, and corn hole.

Comments:
Everyone enjoyed the safety of being able to preform and do activities in the street. The Pikeville City police provided excellent support in making the event possible and safe. They served as the leader of the family walk.

"The Cooperative Extension Service is ideally positioned to facilitate a project like Second Sunday that requires grassroots organization at the county level combined with statewide coordination. I am delighted that we are a key leader of this partnership that is so visibly promoting health and wellness for the Commonwealth."
