Morgan County

Saturday, October 8, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Old Mill Park in West Liberty, KY. Join us for family games, walking, volleyball, hula hoop contest and more! There will also be a health fair with flu shots available for a nominal fee and a special kick-off for "Weigh Down in Morgan County!"

Event summary:.

Location: Tredway Park - West Liberty, KY

Activities included: Hula hoop contests, parachute fun, volleyball, frisbee games, line dancing, beach ball fun, sidewalk chalk contests, 4-H teens assisting, a mile walk to earn a t-shirt, jump rope, and ball tossing.

Recap of 2009 event

Event summary:
Families walked together, received t-shirts as they finished two laps. People between the ages of 3 and 73 played together with frisbees, hula hoop relays, walking, volleyball, whiffle ball, and football passing. The weather was perfect for a day of family activities.

Comments:
One adult stated, "It is so good to see families enjoying fun time together."
