Recap of 2009 event
Event summary:
Back Street was closed. Activities: We had on your own activities such as badminton, corn hole, frisbees, balls, bean bag toss and ring toss. We had a card that participants got checked off as they visited every station (such as the St. Claire Medical booth), the Extension Information Table with give aways, the Exercise Wheel (we have a wheel they spin and either answer a health-related question or do the exercise indicated to win a prize (big hit), they had to walk seven laps around the walking path which is one mile and they had to participate in the Wii Fit Age activity inside the Extension Office. We also had a Fastest Kid in Town foot race as well as a bike race. We had Subway turkey and ham subs with all the veggies as well as a fruit tray and a vegetable tray with water to drink. There was none left! We had a classroom contest for the room with the most kids attending will get a Subway Party that is being provided by St. Claire AHEC.
