Event summary:
Location: Jefferson Davis State Historic Site

Activities included: Scavenger hunt around the park, corn hole, horseshoes, health booths, walks around the park and a speaker.

Event summary:

Location: Ninth Street

Activities: A local historian talked about downtown and had a map of the historic buildings. The people could then walk to the buildings and look at them. A few bikers and skateboarders enjoyed the road being closed.

"The Cooperative Extension Service is ideally positioned to facilitate a project like 2nd Sunday that requires grassroots organization at the county level combined with statewide coordination.
