Event summary:
Second Sunday was held at Ashland's beautiful Central Park with the city mayor proclaiming Second Sunday. We closed the park road and allowed children and parents to walk and ride bicycles during the hours of 2 and 4 p.m. Two children and one adult bicycles were given to participants who completed the course.

"The Cooperative Extension Service is ideally positioned to facilitate a project like 2nd Sunday that requires grassroots organization at the county level combined with statewide coordination. I am delighted that we are a key leader of this partnership that is so visibly promoting health and wellness for the Commonwealth."
